Jack Skellington Nails
Boys and girls of every age, wouldn’t you like to see something strange? Jack Skellington nails are one of the cutest Halloween nail design you could wear and it’s also super simple to do yourself! This is Halloween, so keep reading for a step-by-step look at how to do these cute Skellington nail art.
Step 1.
Prep your nails and apply ORLY Bonder Base Coat
Paint the thumb, index, ring and pinky nail with two coats of ORLY Liquid Vinyl and then paint the middle finger with two coats of ORLY White Tips
Step 2.
Making sure the base colour is completely dry, use a striper brush or thin detail brush dipped in ORLY White Tips and draw 3-4 vertical lines down the thumb, index, ring and pinky nail. Repeat twice for good coverage
Top tip: you can use nail tape to stencil your lines
Step 3.
Dip a large dotting tool in ORLY Liquid Vinyl and draw two eyes on the middle finger, make sure the eyes are not perfect circles.
Step 4.
Use a smaller dotting tool and ORLY Liquid Vinyl to add two tiny nostrils under the eyes
Top tip: you can use the end of a cocktail stick for tiny dots
Step 5.
Dip your striper or thin detailing brush into ORLY Liquid Vinyl and draw a thin curved line close to the free edge to form Jack's mouth
Step 7.
Make sure your designs are 100% dry, then finish with ORLY Glosser Topcoat for a high-shine finish
